Only TWO WEEKS left to register for the first of the two annual 25 On The Fly Events. IMPORTANT: Pre-register by June 14 to get all the free goodies.

This event is a fly-fishing tournament, meets scavenger hunt. The goal is for each team to check off as many boxes on the species list, and complete as many team challenges as possible in just 2 days on the water! Success in this event depends on a mix of teamwork and species/location knowledge. The winning team will have a solid plan and a bit of luck to boot!

Only teams pre-registered by June 14th, 2024 will be guaranteed to receive the full swag bag of goodies from our sponsors below, as well as a control item which must be visible in each video submission. Teams registered after 6/14 may get partial swag bags.

On Saturday June 22nd, the competition will kick off at 6am and continue all day, with lines out of the water by 8pm. The fishing action will officially start again Sunday morning the 23rd at 6am and the tournament will end at 3pm. This year the awards ceremony will be held at a new location after we tally the last of the points to announce this years winners. Plan on 4pm to 6pm.

Think you've got what it takes to join the best anglers on the planet is a fishing tournament meets scavenger hunt, now is your chance. Even if you do, OR if even if you don't, care about fishing tournaments, the 25 on the Fly is a very unique fly fishing event. With two events each year, the 25 on the Fly is a great way to fish, have fun, challenge yourself, and doing it for a good cause.

About 25 on the Fly

One day at Anglers All Fly Shop near Denver, Colorado a chat about angling opportunities during spring runoff season popped off over a few cold ones during happy hour. As the conversation evolved, the staff started dreaming up the potential for a multi-species fly fishing only tournament. They dreamed of an event that would bring much needed shine to some underrated fish in Colorado such as bass, carp and the lesser known trout species. In a country where largemouth bass fishing is king these shop staff aimed to immortalize fly fishing and show the conventional world that flies can fool bass, as well as other species effectively.

So, in the Spring of 2016  Anglers All hosted the first species focused fly fishing tournament and every year the event has grown in reach and popularity. Fast forward to today and the crew behind the popular Mile High 25 has branched out into a series of events across the country!

If you needed even more of a reason to join this year’s fly fishing tournament meets scavenger hunt, each registration includes a donation to @denvertroutunlimited to benefit Denver’s South Platte!
